This notice explains cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used by chapteronerealty.com on a visitor's device.
2. Current Use
As at this version, the website's own application code:
- does not use Google Analytics;
- does not use Meta Pixel or another advertising pixel;
- does not carry out behavioural advertising or cross-site tracking;
- does not create a marketing profile;
- does not set a first-party advertising or analytics cookie.
If this changes, this notice will be updated before the relevant tools are enabled and a preference/consent mechanism will be provided where legally required.
3. Local Storage for the Wishlist
The website uses browser local storage to remember identifiers for properties you save to the wishlist.
- Record name:
cor-saved - Purpose: to show your saved properties again in the same browser
- Contents: internal identifiers for selected properties
- Does not contain: your name, telephone number, email address or enquiry message
- Duration: until you remove the saved property or clear browser/site data
- Communication: when the wishlist page is opened, the selected identifiers are requested from the website so the relevant listings can be displayed
This feature is not necessary for viewing the website. If you do not use the wishlist, the record is not created.
4. Technical Hosting and Security
Hosting and security infrastructure may process standard connection information to deliver the website, protect the connection, prevent misuse and investigate technical problems. The details of these technical processes depend on the provider's service architecture.
The website may also load some property images from the current third-party media provider. During that request, the media provider may receive standard technical information such as IP address and browser information. This does not mean that Chapter One Realty creates an advertising profile.
5. Third-Party Links
Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps/Reviews, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube lead to third-party websites. Those services may use their own cookies or storage technologies under their own rules after you open the link. You should manage their preferences through the relevant service.
6. How to Control Storage
You can remove the wishlist record by:
- removing saved properties individually on the website;
- clearing site data or local storage for chapteronerealty.com in your browser;
- blocking storage through your browser settings.
Blocking storage will not prevent you from viewing the website's main pages, but the wishlist may not be remembered in that browser.
7. Consent Banner
Because the current website does not enable optional analytics or advertising cookies, a general advertising/analytics-cookie consent banner is not displayed. If a new tool requiring consent is introduced, it will not be enabled before consent and an appropriate preference mechanism will be provided.
